Over the weekend, the Royal Military Police’s Deputy Provost Marshal was promoted to the rank of Brigadier.
As the Corp’s second-in-command, Brigadier VibeqL is tasked with assisting the Provost Marshal in upholding law and order within the British Armed Forces.
The Deputy Provost Marshal is a crucial link between the Company Officers and the Corp’s senior command, upholding internal discipline and standards, as well as liaising with the Metropolitan Police and wider British Armed Forces.

What do the Royal Military Police do?
The Royal Military Police are an integral part of British policing, with a consistent presence on the streets for many years.
The Corp’s are also relied upon by the Metropolitan Police to provide mutual aid to large-scale public order events, and the Close Protection Unit can often be seen providing aid protecting members of the Royal Family and politicians.
