In tonight’s session of the House of Lords, a motion has passed that seeks to see the Lord Donut of Wembley banned from air travel.
The motion calls for a further provision within the amended Air Navigation and Safety Act 2025, banning the Lord Donut from all forms of air travel across the United Kingdom.
The Lord Wembley responded to the bill by saying “this bill unfairly targets Metropolitan Police and Police Service of Northern Ireland officers, trying to prevent us from upholding the law!”

The motion was proposed by the Lord Rothschild of Croydon, who also currently serves as the Prime Minister of Israel.
Speaking to the BBC, he said:
“The Lord Wembley on an airplane not only threatens the security of Israel, but the security of the United Kingdom.”
“That is why I proposed the motion and that is why the Lords passed it.”
The amendment, including the new air travel ban, will return to the Commons to be voted on during the second reading.
