This evening, The Duke of St Andrews could be seen on the streets of Westbridge alongside constables of the Metropolitan Police Service.
The visit comes at a time when the Borough is facing increasing levels of vehicular crime, following the addition of the ramming mechanic.
Speaking to the British Broadcasting Corporation, Constable MoreTylerr of the Roads & Transport Policing Command said:
“Since the addition of the ramming physics we are seeing increasing numbers of vehicular-related deaths. It is a priority of ours to reduce these figures.”

Following his time with the Metropolitan Police, the Duke then travelled to the National Highways depot off the A29 to meet some traffic officers.
During his time at the depot, the traffic officers discussed their careers with the organisation, and what each day may look like keeping Britain’s roads moving.
