RebaAstor and AdaptedFrost are to launch a revitalised National Party for the September General Election, with the former Prime Minister confirming the move to the BBC earlier this evening.
Astor who served as the 55th Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 2023 will co-lead the party alongside former Chancellor of the Exchequer AdaptedFrost, stating that “for too long British Politics has been trapped in the same cycle of politicians too afraid to challenge the status quo” and that the Nationals would “break that cycle”.
The branding is a direct revitalisation of the National Party that became defunct as a result of a merger with the Cosmocrats to form the National Democrats back in July who at the time was led by former Prime Minister BarendFredericShaw.
When asked about the branding the leadership duo stated the brand “gave people a political force willing to actually challenge the establishment, and one that would deliver on their promises”.
