Nationals Leader Kingmaster_I responds to no confidence motion

“It is regrettable that these members choose to hide behind a VONC, which they chose to leak to the media first rather than engage in dialogue.”

The National Party Leader, Kingmaster_I has responded to the motion for a vote of no confidence in his leadership, which was filed by his own Deputy Leader, ZenoFrost_x, and supported by RebaAstor, H0RPH and JacintaHastings.

In his response statement, the Nationals Leader condemned the individuals for attempting to “fracture the party” and considered this move an “unnecessary setback”.

He shared that “I will reshuffle my team” after which he formally sacked the individuals involved in the motion from their posts within senior party roles, further stating that “It is regrettable that these members choose to hide behind a VONC, which they chose to leak to the media first rather than engage in dialogue.”

National Leader Kingmaster_I’s statement following the motion of no confidence against him, called by his deputy leader ZenoFrost_x.

Despite having sacked the aforementioned individuals, Kingmaster permitted the vote to go ahead, which was held on Sunday evening with control and electoral oversight from the Electoral Commission due to the absence of a Party Chairman. However, the vote of No Confidence was deemed invalid by the EC, where the EC Chair, TheBritishUnion, confirmed that “one of the signatories to the VONC was removed as an MP immediately following receiving 3 strikes. It is under this explanation that the vonc in Kingmaster is currently invalid”.

Since the EC confirmed the invalidity of the Vote, Kingmaster_I followed up his initial statement with another.

He shared that he was grateful for the “vast majority of the Parliamentary party” that “stood by me, and placed their faith in me to continue in my capacity as leader”. He closed this statement sharing “I will persist and give it my best to mobilise the party to bounce back from this setback”, before confirming that “fresh faces” would be brought in to “replace the individuals that have plagued the party for far too long”.

Update – 18:45: The Electoral Commission have since investigated the recent events within the National Party, detailing that a group chat was “formed in the wake of the National VONC where members of the party worked with AdaptedFrost to try and form a leadership bid despite his politics ban issued on the 27th of last month.”

They have confirmed that AdaptedFrost’s political ban has since been extended until 30th October, after he admitted to being involved, and a one month ban was also imposed on ZenoFrost_x, RebaAstor and MasonCathcart until the current parliamentary term ends on 22nd July, for “their involvement in working with an individual who is politics banned”.

RebaAstor has also since had her membership within the National Party be suspended following a vote by the Party Board, in light of the recent activities, as confirmed by Kingmaster_I.
