After discussions between the Chief of Defence Staff and Afghan officials, the United Kingdom’s Armed Forces will be redeploying to Afghanistan.
The Chief of Defence Staff, IsmailMountbatten, has assigned the Chief of General Staff, General Globesey, as the Commander of the mission.
Previously, the Armed Forces deployed to Afghanistan land in 2024 to conduct multiple different deployments alongside the Afghan National Security Forces and the Afghan National Army.
