The Air Chief Marshal of the Royal Air Force, ItsGaffa, has revealed that authorisation has been given for the Royal Air Force (RAF) to conduct operations with the usage of military aircraft in Northern Ireland.
There is no plans for the use of weapons, however, if need be, force will be used by the RAF to protect the wider British interests in the region. Scheduled and unscheduled flights will take place, with announcements made at least a day in advance through social media.
