This evening, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office welcomed a delegation from Singapore to No. 10 Westbridge.
The delegation discussed numerous affairs including policing, wider home affairs, and defence co-operation.
Concerns grew outside No. 10 Westbridge as the police presence increased dramatically, with numerous specialist units responding to the scene, including a bomb disposal vehicle.
It was later confirmed by an Explosives Officer that one device was neutralised inside the property, nearby to where the delegates were meeting.
This raises concerns over the safety of politicians in the capital, and the protection that is provided to them.
