Two days ago, the newly announced leader of the Unionist Party, TE4SP0N, published his appointment statement within the party server, alongside a blue-themed “ELECTED” graphic.
The image features TE4SP0N in the foreground, with a large “ELECTED” text taking up the background.
Following an investigation by the BBC Verify team, we can confirm that the image was in fact generated by the Artificial Intelligence platform ChatGPT – a generative AI chatbot.
The image link redirects through discord’s content delivery network (CDN) to an image named consistently with the AI bot’s site, “ChatGPT_Image_Sep_11_2026_09_02_12_PM.png”
This image was generated just 35 minutes after former Unionist leader NotChocolatePlayz was seen saying “What was your plan for graphics if you got elected, use AI slop?”
