New appointments to the staffing structures at Westminster were confirmed today by the Parliament Administrator, Exarkhos.
The appointments were announced, following an extensive application period, with vacancies available in the staff teams for both parliamentary chambers: House of Commons and House of Lords.
Officially confirmed today in the UK Parliament server, the Parliament Administrator, Exarkhos, confirmed the following appointments to the Parliamentary Staff Team:
- MichaelGTheobald as Clerk Assistant of the House of Commons
- cJessixca as Clerk Assistant of the House of Commons
- MarcFremwell as Serjeant-at-Arms of the House of Commons
- InkyInkerman as Clerk Assistant of the House of Lords
Despite only 4 appointments, he truly appreciated “all of those who registered their interest.”
He concluded his announcement by sharing that “These reforms are intended to solidify the structure of Parliament Staff in a linear fashion: The role of Serjeants-at-Arms will be the new “starting point” for Staff members, where they will gradually learn how Parliament functions before joining our Clerk team. Please be understanding & cordial as our newer staff members learn the extent of their role.”
