In a statement issued from the Craigavon Civic and Conference Centre, Northern Ireland Governor Sir ScriptedSid confirmed that leahvnx had demonstrated the ability to command the confidence of the Assembly through a Confidence and Supply agreement.
As a result, leahvnx has been designated as First Minister-designate ahead of a formal vote in Stormont later this week.
The notice also confirmed several key ministerial appointments within the incoming Executive:
- AaronMakko will serve as deputy First Minister-designate and Minister for Public Services & the Border.
- c_4allum has been named Minister for Finance.
- Humitoe will take the role of Leader of the Assembly.
