Government Announces Funding Boosts in April Budget

The government has announced a series of major funding increases in its April Budget, with transport, Home Office, and Treasury spending all receiving significant boosts.

Funding for transport will rise by 30%, aimed at supporting bus drivers and the wider sector, while the Home Office budget will increase by 35% to strengthen support for frontline emergency service workers. At the same time, Treasury funding will grow by 25%, with the government saying this will help support British businesses and the private sector.
