This evening, the Greggs on Westbridge High Street caught fire in a blaze whose source is currently unknown.
LFB and LAS were quick to respond, and reportedly, no one was inside the Greggs at the time.
There have been no reported injuries. The rubble was removed and the fire was put out within five minutes.
However, this has prompted concerns about the overall safety of Greggs stores following yesterday’s attack on Cabinet Ministers in the Greggs near King Edward Station.
When approached for comment, Greggs Chairman Michael M. Rothschild said:
“Greggistani Special Air Service were under no obligation to protect them. They will only protect my boy, SimplyBeario.”
