Oscex quits as Unionist Leader

Oscex has quit as Leader of the Unionist Party after 34 days in the post.

The Leader of the Unionist Party Oscex has resigned after 34 days in the position citing “how busy my life has gotten recently” as he brings his tenure as leader to a close, triggering an election to replace him.

Oscex had replaced BritishKota at the start of August who himself had similarly lasted only 17 days in the job. The party which in recent months has struggled to gain traction and stability after the resignation of former Prime Minister MichaelMRothschild had been once electorally dominant.

There is no obvious successor lined up to replace the now former Member of Parliament for Leicester & Northants, whose resignation leaves the party at a crossroads just weeks out from a General Election.
