Following her public statement yesterday, the New York Times has called for the Home Secretary, RebaAstor, to rescind her comments made about their article on the recent failed bills in Parliament.
In a press release, the news agency did not directly name the Home Secretary, but highlighted that her comments “defamed and disparaged our company”, and that [t]hese claims were unreasonably published to the public domain with no evidence to support them”.
They further added that the Company Counsel has contacted her to remove the statement from public viewing, but have had no response as of yet, and that if she continues to “ignore communication attempts, official legal processes shall be initiated”.
As far as we can see, the Home Office has not yet given a statement in response to the latest follow up by the New York Times.
