North Korean documents leaked regarding diplomacy with the United States of America.

On 24th March, 2026- two documents having the title ‘INT DPRK-US Strategic Directive’ and ‘INT DPRK-US Foreign Regulations and Sanctions’ in the public server of USA. These two documents have caused a turmoil between South Korea and North Korea.

The first document having the title, ‘INT DPRK-US Strategic Directive’ stated, “Democratic People’s Republic of Korea shall conduct diplomacy with the United States on the basis of absolute equality, mutual respect for sovereignty, and non-interference in internal affairs”. This shows that North Korea is going to make a step forward towards diplomacy with the United States. Their expected outcome is to, “Obtain significant material and strategic gains while preserving full nuclear sovereignty” and “Expose U.S. insincerity and double-dealing to the international community, further justifying our path of bolstering self-reliant defense capabilities.”

As of recent updates, South Korea have decided to cut ties with North Korea and stated, “We are also very disappointed that the North has decided to follow a foreign policy of hostility and continued antagonization of the South Korean people, our government, and our allies.” In response to this, North Korea issued a statement citing “The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea categorically rejects and denounces the so-called “leaked documents” recently publicized by the South Korean puppet regime as crude forgeries fabricated through their desperate espionage and anti-DPRK smear campaign.”
