Royal Communications Department Disbanded by Palace

The Royal Household has confirmed that the Royal Communications department has been disbanded with immediate effect, with its responsibilities being transferred to the Private Secretary’s Office under an Assistant Private Secretary to streamline messaging and coordination.

In response to the decision, the Director of Royal Communications acknowledged the change and indicated they would step back from their remaining involvement in the household. They also paid tribute to King Alexander’s reign, describing it as “a pleasure to serve under Alex for nearly the whole of his reign,”
