Government Collapses after Nationals withdraw from Coalition

In a letter released today, the leader of the National Party confirmed the party would leave its coalition agreement with the Cavalier Party, saying the government could no longer provide stability.

The statement criticised Prime Minister NotChocolatePlayz, claiming he lacked the authority and vision required to lead the country.

In the letter, the National Party leader said attempts had been made to change the course of government, including organising a cabinet reshuffle and pushing for regular cabinet meetings. He claimed these efforts were repeatedly delayed or blocked.

The party ultimately concluded that remaining in the coalition was no longer in the country’s best interests.

The withdrawal effectively removes the government’s working majority, leaving the administration unable to continue in its current form.

A general election is now expected to be called to decide who will form the next government.
