Government pledges biggest Treasury budget in British history

The Government has announced what it describes as the largest Treasury budget in British history, ahead of the full budget announcement scheduled for Saturday.

Private sector executives and industry leaders gathered at Number 10 Westbridge, located at Westmorland House, for an evening dinner and address delivered by the Prime Minister and Treasury officials.

Introduced by the newly appointed Director of Communications, the Duke of Gloucester, Prime Minister CallumCathcart addressed attendees, outlining his Government’s intention to strengthen its relationship with the private sector.

The Prime Minister confirmed that, following the disbandment of the development budget, its funding would be consolidated into the primary budget, which is expected to total 10,000R$.

Of the confirmed allocations, 4,000R$ has been allocated to the Treasury, while the BBC is set to receive 1,000R$ following its revival and redevelopment under its new Director-General.

The Government has also confirmed the closure and abolition of the National Credit Union (NCU), an institution established under the previous National Democrat government to oversee the distribution of grants.

Despite the NCU’s closure, Prime Minister Cathcart has confirmed that the grant system will remain in place. The funding is intended to continue supporting in-game businesses and wider private-sector activity, with further details on its administration expected as part of the Government’s budget announcement on Saturday.
