Earlier this evening, the Dutch and British governments engaged in a State Visit on the island of De Antillen.
During the visit, the two delegations discussed the development of bilateral affairs, with a particular emphasis on military cooperation.

In a post made to the United Nations International Feed, the Dutch government said that it “looks forward” to continued engagements, with potential for further joint military initiatives and collaborative projects.
The history of the Netherlands and Britain
The Netherlands and the United Kingdom have developed a steadfast relationship in recent history, with successful engagements and partnerships occurring for numerous years.
The Dutch and British Armed Forces have conducted a wide variety of joint exercises and events during the relationship, with many soldiers serving in both forces at the same time.

De Antillen is a well-known island to many Brits, with a wide portion of British citizens also frequently engaging with activities in the Dutch territory.
