Earlier this evening, the BBC Election team hosted their BBC Election Debate in the Westbridge Exhibition Centre.
The debate was presented and moderated by The Viscount Prestwood, DeanRHeathcote, the former Director-General of the BBC, and involved representatives from both For Britain and the National Democrats.

Tonight’s event was also one of a great magnitude for the BBC and wider UK, as it was the first time an election debate was held in Westbridge rather than a private studio.
The debate began with a range of questions written by the BBC Election team, including topics regarding the Westbridge Events Commission and the Treasury, before opening the floor up to spectators of the event.

Spectators of the event spent the hour listening to what the representatives had to say, with times of heated discussion and plenty of disagreements.
Preliminary polling conducted by the BBC has indicated that 65% of people believed For Britain performed better in the debate.
Polling for the September General Election is set to open tomorrow evening at 8PM.
You can watch the full debate (with a lack of audio…..) here.
