Temporary tents setup at King Edward Square ahead of general election

The tents were erected by the political parties earlier this evening to aid with local campaigning.

Temporary tents have been setup at King Edward Station to help promote independents and parties for the upcoming general election.

Along with this, some revamps have came to the roads surrounding the station along with a new island and a zebra crossing near the main road making it much safer for pedestrians.

Crime in the area seems to have increased since the tents were put up, with an increase in firearm and bladed article-related incidents.

Members of the public are warned to be more aware around this area for the duration of the evening.
