C_4allum releases first statement as For Britain Leader

The new Opposition Leader opposes a no confidence vote against the Government, advocating for an end to the perpetual cycle of elections.

C_4allum, the new Leader of For Britain, and therefore Leader of the Opposition, has shared his first statement since securing his victory in the recent party leadership election.

In his statement, he emphasised that “politics should be about the people and the community”, promising to uphold his predecessor DeanRHeathcote’s promise to make For Britain “a party that works constructively and in the interests of the community”.

Following discussions with the Prime Minister, he has made clear to the British people that he will “not be supporting or proposing a vote of no confidence in the Government”, stressing a key message how “we must end the cycle of continuous elections”, after a chaotic previous parliamentary terms.

Closing his statement, he addressed the recent political activities impacting the now deregistered Action Party, vowing not to “be a party leader who does anything simply for political advantage, or who continues to push people down when they are clearly struggling and under immense pressure.”
