Northern Ireland Executive receives virement from His Majesty’s Treasury

The funding has been as secured following First Minister leahvnx’s multiple-year-long campaign for a “stronger future for Northern Ireland”.

Through the powers conferred by section 3 of the Finance (July) Act 2026, the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, The Rt. Hon Ognian0 MP, has issued a virement to the Northern Ireland Executive.

The virement, issued late last night, transfers a sum of 750 robux from the Northern Ireland Office to the Northern Ireland Executive, as the funds were an “unallocated reserve” which were described by the Chief Secretary as “not currently required”.

The Executive’s sole source of funding comes from the Northern Ireland Consolidated Fund, issued by Group Staff, which totals 500 robux.

While the Consolidated Fund had previously been frozen, Chief Secretary Ognian0 has confirmed that the fund has been reinstated following discussions with the Governor of Northern Ireland.

Following these funding announcements, the Northern Ireland Executive now has a budget of 1250 robux ready to pass through the Assembly for approval.
