In the statement, MichaelGTheobalding said the decision came after a “period of thoughtful internal reflection regarding the direction of the group”.
He added that he was leaving “confident that it is in capable hands with a clear and strong vision for the future”.
The outgoing Governor described serving in the role as “an honour and a privilege”, thanking colleagues and members of the community for their support during his tenure.
